This program combines the National Safety Council’s premier 8 hour Defensive Driving Course with the NSC’s unique, behavioral focused, Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving course, to meet and exceed the 12 hour reckless/aggressive driver education program requirements (RADEP).  

How do I take this course?

The student must complete both parts of the program in person, with Colonial Driving School.  There is no option for taking either part online, or with another company.  You must register and pay for both classes individually.  You will receive a separate NSC certificate of completion for each part of the program as you complete it.

How does this course work?

Part one of the program, the VA approved 8 hour driver improvement clinic, must be taken first.  It is offered every Saturday at 8am at our main office at 103 Highland Ave, in Colonial Heights.  The cost is $75 if you register ahead, or $90 at the door.  Part 2, the 4 hour RADEP portion, will be offered monthly on an “as needed” basis.  Call the office to check the schedule.  The cost for Part 2 is $190.
